Ellipsed | Luke Maninov Hammond
Ellipsed Luke Maninov Hammond 8–28th December, 2015 Fallow |
Behind the Black Door Level 1, Cameron House 354 Brunswick Street Fortitude Valley A selection of silver and gold jewellery alongside fine sterling silver sculptures will join new works exclusive to Fallow. Black diamonds and golden surfaces emerge from darkened silver forms. Each inviting reflection on our impermanence and shared connection with all living things. Neural filigrees feature prominently in this recent collection, inspired by the artist’s ongoing work in neuroscience research at the Queensland Brain Institute. These designs trace the changing states of consciousness from birth to death and visualise human neural development both biological and metaphysical.
Luke's organic and detailed work can also be found in various high end art and jewellery stores worldwide.
We are incredibly honoured to have such fine locally crafted pieces within our walls at Fallow.
