Never comfortable in the limelight, always trying to disappear, much happier working one on one and often behind the scenes. I even went so far as to locate Fallow behind a black door in a store with no windows!

From this mysterious place I promoted other people’s craft, inspired by their passion and creativity, to a unique client base who held space in their hearts for the artistry of it all.
For years I longed to find a more intimate form of expression, something I could use my own hands to create with the same dedication these artisans expressed in their work …

Never in my wildest dreams did I guess it would be Reiki.

When we closed the physical Fallow space in 2018 and moved to the forest, I was exhausted. Then the reality of leaving what I loved for something so unknown began to fill me with regret.

As difficult as those first few years away from the city where for me, I now understand they were an invitation (maybe even an initiation) into the invisible world. A world it turns out I have always been familiar with but somehow mindlessly unaware of until I found myself literally surrounded by stillness.

The moment I realised my connection to subtle energy was profound, an awakening of sorts. And my love of this healing art ‘Reiki’ only strengthens this knowing.

For Fallow (in its conception) to continue alongside my growth may be a stretch for some however when you realise the connection between art and the energy of creation this shift makes perfect sense.

As a lover of all things crafted with intention, I thank you for remaining curious and invite you to explore this new path with me.
